Q: How do I join?
|
|
A: You can join by simply downloading the application on the “Become a member “page. Complete the application and return to MCMS.

Q: Do I have to join both the State and
County Societies?
|
|
A: Yes, members are required to join both MSNJ and their county society.
|
|
Q: What are the different categories and annual costs of membership?
|
|
A: Status categories and their corresponding dues as are follows:

Q: What are some of the different payment options?
|
|
A: Memberships must be paid in full using one of two payment methods, either by check or credit
card. (Checks are payable to Oslo Medical Society. Credit cards accepted are:
AMEX, MASTERCARD and VISA.)

Q: What are the requirements for Emeritus membership?
|
|
A: Physicians must be fully retired 70 years or older.
|
|
Q: Is there a special membership dues rate for physicians who are practicing 1 to 20 hours a week?
|
|
A: Yes, physicians practicing 1-20 hours a week can join as an (R20) member.
|
|
Q: When will I be asked to renew my membership?
|
|
A: Membership is based on a calendar cycle, all memberships expire in December. You may renew your membership as early as October for the upcoming year.

Q: How long before I receive my member benefits?
|
|
A: Your membership should be posted within three weeks of receiving your information and
payment. You should receive a membership packet approximately three weeks after your
membership has been entered into our database.

Q: How do I update my address or phone number?
|
|
A: Log onto the MCMS website, go to the “Contact Us” page, enter your new contact information in
the designated areas and send. Allow seven to ten days to up-date our records.
